Criminal Mischief – Occurred at 2300 Gault Ave N, the interior of a building, mattresses and flooring were all damaged, valued at $8500.00

Burglary – Occurred at 701 Alabama Ave NW, a mirror, Toro Lawn Mower, hospital bed, hand trucks, scales, closet light, cups, rolling pin, Nike cleats, broom, wallet and currency were taken, valued at $830.00

 

3 Arrests

Hannah Roshelle Cottrell, age 23 of Fort Payne, was arrested for Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia at 3:05 pm

David Wayne Elkins, age 50 of Fort Payne, was arrested for Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Public Intoxication and Driving Under the Influence of a Combined Substance at 6:28 pm

Rigoberto Tzun Garcia, age 31 of Fort Payne, was arrested for DUI at 7:25 pm

 

2 Accidents with 1 Injury

An accident occurred at Gault Ave N and 18^th Street N, David Wayne Elkins, age 50 of Fort Payne, driving a 2006 Honda Odyssey, struck Jennifer Kay Stevens, age 40 of Sylvania, driving a 2004 Chevrolet Suburban.  Elkins was transported to Dekalb Regional by Dekalb Ambulance Service.
