An accident occurred at Gault Ave S and 29^th Street SW, Courtney Denise Fields, age 25 of Collinsville, driving a 2005 Ford Taurus, struck Tommie Arthur Powell, age 61 of Rainsville, driving a 2013 Dodge Ram. Fields and Angel Ruby Cribbs, age 22 of Collinsville were transported to Dekalb Regional by Dekalb Ambulance Service.

An accident occurred at Glenn Blvd SW and I-59, Retha Inez Green Willmon, age 74 of Trenton, driving a 2005 Honda Pilot, struck Robert Christopher Patterson, age 45 of Fort Payne, driving a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado. Both Willmon, and Patterson were transported by Dekalb Ambulance Service to Dekalb Regional.
