An accident occurred at the intersection of Desoto Pkwy NE and Beason Gap Road NE, Ricky Dell Esslinger Jr, age 26 of Fort Payne, riding a 2009 Suzuki GSX, struck Richard L Knizner, age 49 of Fort Payne, driving a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado. Esslinger was transported to Erlanger Hospital by EMS Air.
