Damaged Property – Occurred at 3702 Godfrey Ave NE, a toilet was damaged, valued at $100.00

Theft of Property – Occurred at 2000 Watkins Ave NE, a gas can was taken, valued at $50.00

Unlawful Breaking and Entering a Vehicle – Occurred at 3709 Williams Ave NE, credit cards and cigarettes were taken, valued at $6.00

Damaged Property – Occurred at 200 Medical Center Drive, a bumper on a 2019 Nissan Sentra was damaged, valued at $750.00

 

2 Arrests

Charles Lee Marler, age 40 of Fort Payne, was arrested for Public Intoxication at 3:48 pm

Oscar Lee Jones, age 39 of Rainsville, was arrested on a Warrant for Outside Agency at 5:32 pm

 

3 Accidents with 4 Injuries

An accident occurred at Godfrey Ave NE and 11^th Street NE, Melissa Sue Irons, age 31 of Madison, WI, driving a 2009 Mercury Sable, left the roadway and hit an embankment. Irons was transported to Dekalb Regional by Dekalb Ambulance Service.

An accident occurred at Gault Ave S and 41^st Street SW, Kristen Triebel Gerstenecker, age 40 of Birmingham, driving a 2015 Toyota Highlander, left the roadway and struck a culvert. Gerstenecker and two juvenile passengers were transported to TC Thompson’s Hospital by Dekalb Ambulance Service.
