Theft of Property – Occurred at 2609 Gault Ave N, an Android phone was taken, valued at $499.00

Change Bill Circulating – Occurred at 205 Glenn Blvd SW, a $100.00 bill was counterfeit

Criminal Mischief – Occurred at 2016 Turner Ave N, a door and frame were damaged, valued at $200.00

 

3 Arrests

Brenton Duane Newcomb, age 46 of Fort Payne, was arrested on Three Warrants for Failure to Appear at 9:35 am

Darrell Lavon Keel, Jr, age 30 of Sandy Springs, Ga, was arrested for Identity Theft and Possession of a Forged Instrument at 5:37 pm

William Dewayne Vessell, age 35 of Gaylesville, was arrested on Two Warrants for Outside Agency at 8:10 pm

 

3 Accidents with 1 Injury

An accident occurred at Glenn Blvd SW and I -59, Brandon Ray Rooks, age 20 of Rainsville, driving a 2003 Honda Civic struck Christopher Tom Gibbs, age 48 of Fort Payne, driving a 2012 GMC Sierra. Kealsey Elkins, passenger in the civic, age 24 of Altoona, was transported to Dekalb Regional by Dekalb Ambulance Service.
